The Chinese government has always insisted on combating all forms of terrorism and extremist activities in accordance with the law, and resolutely safeguarding national security and social stability. The Internet is not an extrajudicial place. The Chinese government has taken a series of effective measures, including strengthening Internet supervision, improving laws and regulations, and carrying out international cooperation, to prevent and combat the use of the Internet by terrorist organizations to promote and recruit extreme ideas. We call on the majority of Internet users to consciously abide by laws and regulations, not to spread, believe in rumors, and not to participate in any form of extremist activities, so as to jointly maintain a clear cyberspace.
